You’ll begin the game drive by exploring the Southern/Central/Seronera Valley; the Maasai termed it “Serengeti,” which means “country of unending plains.” The Southern Zone has an infinite plain filled with savannah grassland that provides a large space for species such as Wildebeest, Zebra, Coke’s Hartebeest, waterbuck, Grant’s and Thomson Gazelle, and Impala, to feed throughout the year. There is scattered acacia flora in Seronera Valley, which occurs in a group-like structure called as Kopjes, which gives an excellent vantage point for predators to observe their victims and a sanctuary for Hyrax, Pythons, and reptiles such as lizards. African Leopards are often spotted. After lunch, you’ll continue your game drive until the evening, when you’ll proceed to Seronera campground for supper and stay.
