Overview
The best 7 days Tanzania safari. Mount Kilimanjaro offers multiple paths to the summit, but the Lemosho route is the only one situated in the mountain’s northwestern corner. You will be able to complete excellent acclimatization on the fourth day before reaching the base camp if you choose this route (Barafu). The Lemosho path is the only one that allows you to submit Shira Peak.
As a climber/traveler, you have the chance to add value to your trip by contributing a portion of your climbing fee to a kid living in a vulnerable/poor area. Godson Charity is not a shelter for orphans. Instead, we identify children living in poor/vulnerable environments, assess their needs from where they are, and then seek immediate assistance.

Day 6: Barafu Camp to Uhuru peak & down to Millennium Camp.
You will be awakened about midnight to begin your journey to the peak. This section of the walk is more difficult than the others. We will begin our hike to the top between the Rebman and Ratzel glaciers across hard scree up to Stella point on the crater rim after packing refreshments. We’ll take a brief pause after reaching Stella Point to gaze at the most stunning dawn you’re ever likely to see (weather allowed), and then we could face snow all the way up to the peak.
After reaching Africa’s highest mountain, grab as many shots as you can and revel in your success; your time here will be limited in order to prevent altitude sickness. Begin your descent to Mweka Hut campsite, stopping for lunch at Barafu Camp. The route is a little uneven and may be hazardous to the knees, so trekking poles might be useful here.
